The results are coming in!
After two days of competition, the results from TEAM Ireland are absolutely astonishing. Only two athletes on this team have ever taken part in a World Games before with the other 6 experiencing the World stage for the first time.
On Tuesday the finals took place for the Super Giant Slalom and yet again the athletes on TEAM Ireland didn’t even miss a single gate between them. With medals, ribbons and personal bests it was an excellent day but more was to come.
Wednesday saw the Team competing in the Giant Slalom competition. With very early starts (5am) and long days the tiredness was kicking in for everyone but yet again the athletes gave it everything and the results speak for themselves.
On Thursday 12th the athletes will be taking part in divisioning for the Slalom finals which will take place on Friday 13th. No doubt there will be more celebrations by Friday evening!
